Agriculture:
Problem:
With about 150 million inhabitants, 80% of whom are rural and poverty rates over 40%, it shows that agriculture is really a vital sector to the country. Of the whole rural population, almost half of them are considered landless (own less than half an acre of land). Extreme poverty in Bangladesh is such a problem that any minor change in food prices or weather (storm) can threaten the lives of millions of people. The society is organized in classes so that an elite class dominates the others and exploits them.
Cause:
A study over 15 years has shown that there is a huge variety of factors that influence poverty. Better education, having more land, a better job (not so common it seems), but also the size of the family and where people lived all affected their level of poverty and how much they consumed. Poverty is also a geographical problem: these areas are poor because they provide much less schools on average, much less roads and connected villages and towns and much less infrastructure in general. This worsens the life of the poor as it makes it much harder for them to meet their basic needs, sell their crops, find decent housing and send their kids to school.
Solution:
Therefore, to avoid future tensions and disparities within the population, it’s also the government’s role to make sure that everyone can have easy or affordable access to these new technologies. Spreading technology in agriculture is an essential part of reducing poverty in Bangladesh and will help improve average living standards in the country. The government needs to give training to the famers oh the best ways to make productive farms and what are the most beneficial crops to plan on the specific parts of lands they have. They need to develop more schools for the children so they can become more educated and know how to expand their land, education, and learn sanitary skills to help expand the life expand of the people of the village.

Child Labor:
Problem:
In Bangladesh, the problem concerns above 6 million kids – nearly 15% of the children in the country. This situation denies these kids their right to education and often leaves them with diseases caught at work. Boys are more concerned with child labor and make up almost 60% of child workers. On average their age is between 12-14 years old and “luckily” not so many of them work in health-threatening factories. Child labor represents a real income that is essential to the survival of many families.
Cause:
There is a lack of men in the village to work in the field that they need help from the kids. They will help them be more productive on farm work and help keep their families out of deep poverty. They families are so big so the parents are needing more help on raising of the families on the small amount of income they have and need help on getting more help in turn they send their children to work to help the family survive.
Solution:
The kids are needed so much for work that the government cannot stop them from working. That will cause everyone to fall into poverty and can be the cause of families falling apart. You would need to give the children more opportunities for education and room for growth. We need to teach the parents hoe important it is for their children to get an education and how beneficial it would be for them to have their children go to school. I think of we set an age limit for the earliest you can send the kid to work it can provide the children some tome to get an education on school and life skills before sending them into the working world. Once the children are allowed giving them an allotted amount of time they can work a week or day will limit the amount of work they get done but also gives them a chance to work on their education.
